For some reason, I always screw up the initial call to tower holding short of the runway.
But today, I called them up with no mistakes whatsoever. I sounded authoritative, calm, and aware. It was a damn good radio call. It was professional.
Then I realized I was still on the ground frequency.

My flying videos
Dad has been flying for American for 26 years now. He has over 20,000 hours logged. Most of them are captain in the MD-8?. Though he’s moved onto the bigger and betters, his favorite will always remain hand-flying this workhorse.
